ILS STUDENT TEACHERS

Alison Ebel is working with Ms. Glanzer in 2nd grade.  Her hometown is Billings, Montana.  One of Alison’s goals as a student teacher is to learn how to establish rules in the classroom and to keep herself and students accountable.  She loves singing and choir, as well as the general classroom environment in grades 1-4.  Alison is a student assistant coach for the Concordia tennis team and an acapella choir member.  She has taught at church summer camp and served as a summer tennis instructor.

Jadyn High is working with Mrs. Williamson in 1st grade.  Her hometown is Bertrand, Nebraska.  Jadyn enjoys the early primary grades because she can help shape the students’ attitudes toward school and to have a love for learning.  When in China, she taught English, PE, and Science to students for five weeks and wrote her own curriculum and lesson plans.  Jadyn is a member of Concordia’s nationally-ranked basketball team.  She has worked as a day camp counselor and swim instructor for the YMCA.

Neleigh Lehr is working with Mrs. Pudwell in 4th grade.  Her hometown is Duncan, Nebraska.  Neleigh is interested in special education.  She chose to become a teacher because she has been inspired by many of her past educators.  Helping students make strides toward personal goals and educational growth is very rewarding to her.  Neleigh has taught at Vacation Bible School during the summer for four years and was a photography assistant for several years.  She has served as captain of the Concordia dance team.
