HIGH HOLY DAYS
5778 / 2017

Dear Friend,

Shanah Tovah! The Rabbi, staff, Board of Directors and the High Holy Days Committee of Congregation Dor Tamid are very much looking forward to spending the 5778/2017 High Holy Days Services with you.

In preparation for the High Holy Days, below are your HHD forms.  These forms will provide you with the necessary information for this year’s services.  It is important that you review and complete these forms carefully, so as to assure that your wishes are best accommodated.

PLEASE RETURN THESE FORMS
NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2017.

Service Times (See full schedule on the link below)
On the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we will hold morning services at both 8:30 AM and 11:45 AM.  We also offer a Young Family Service of music and story geared towards families with children ages 7 and under on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. All are welcome to come to this fun service!

Member tickets
Please return your form indicating a service time (early or late) and the number of tickets needed.  Members who wish their visiting relatives to attend services with them may purchase Guest Tickets.   If your relative is a member in good standing of another congregation, a Reciprocal ticket will be provided at no charge with a request from that congregation.

Non-member tickets
Non-member tickets must be purchased for all guests of CDT members who are not relatives and for all non-members who wish to attend. The form for non-member tickets is available below. If you are a member in good standing of another congregation, a Reciprocal ticket will be provided at no charge with a request from that congregation.

For Children
During the Early and Late services on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur, Childcare and Children’s Activities (for children 19 months through 2nd grade) will be offered.  Pre-registration is required, using the enclosed form.

Parking
Ample open parking is available in our lot as well as at St. Benedict Catholic Church on Parsons Road.  Free shuttle service between St. Benedict Catholic Church and CDT will be provided for the first day of Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur.  Free handicapped parking will be accommodated upon request for those with valid handicapped stickers.  We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to obtain a reserved parking spot for all services.  This is a way to contribute to CDT, and have a convenient parking spot for the HHDs. Please indicate if you request a handicapped spot or want to purchase parking on the enclosed form.

Our Rabbi, Cantorial Soloist, Board, High Holidays Committee, staff and congregant volunteers are working diligently to ensure that you enjoy a welcoming, warm and meaningful worship experience.

May you and yours be inscribed in the Book of Life for a Sweet, Healthy and Happy New Year.

Nancy Mittler and Jackie Berger, Co-Chairs
Your High Holy Days Committee
